When Google Buzz launched today, Tuesday, February 9, 2010, our Twitter feeds picked up steam like it was the announcement that Michael Jackson had just died. It was clearly the buzziest thing to tweet about but then again, not by youth themselves (because they don’t tweet) but by marketers trying to attract youth and new media experts in general. However there’s plenty of reason that Google Buzz is the buzziest thing in social networking and communication, but it does bring up the question of will youth culture use it and is it another way to reach an elusive and tech-savvy demographic?
