World Skateboarding Day often energizes brands and skaters with excellent new ideas for bringing out the stoke of board sports through new ways of connection across the globe.
Specifically, we wanted to point out what DC plans to do for Go Skateboarding Day in June 21, 2015. They are planning a Global Skate Jam! which they hope will be the largest single day global skateboarding event ever seen. The Global Skate Jam! includes a series of grassroots events that will include barbeques, skatepark jam sessions, best trick contests and more. In addition, DC is donating $10 of every pair of shoes sold on DCShoes.com this holiday during Go Skateboarding Day towards the Harold Hunter Foundation. The Harold Hunter Foundation was formed in 2007 in Harold’s memory as a skateboard community based organization that provides inner-city youth with valuable life experiences, despite life’s challenges.
