Punk rockers, skaters, and artists now have another festival to celebrate: It’s Not Dead Festival has been announced which will feature 35 bands on three stages including The Vandals, 7 Seconds, Bouncing Souls, Bad Religion, Pennywise, Descendents, Anti-Flag, Fishbone, H20, Goldfinger, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, and others.
It’s Not Dead takes place at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CO, on October 10, 2015.
According to Kevin Lyman, producer of the Vans Warped Tour, which has just kicked-off (story posting soon) and the co-producer, “It’s Not Dead Festival is basically any punk rock fans dream lineup. Where else will you be able to see all these legendary bands in one place, on one day?”
In addition to the band line-up, the festival will also feature an old-school skate/BMX jam, presented by Vans, featuring legends Mike Frazier, Steve Caballero, Christian Hosoi, along with other pros, plus BMX rider Dennis McCoy.
There will also be an on-site are exhibition called “Art’s Not Dead” and a “Punks Well Read” book signing area curated by renowned punk rock photographer Lisa Johnson, the photographer for the book Misfit Summer Camp: 20 Years on the Road with the Vans Warped Tour.
The art show will exhibit and sell works from artists and photographers such as Mark deSalvo, Dave Naz, Natalia Fabia, and others, with book signings of celebrated punk authors Jeff Alulis, Danny Bland, Shawna Kenney, and Cecil Castellucci.
