Late-breaking news on Friday evenings are often the most intriguing: Bread & Butter has pulled back on its recent announcement of moving the January fashion trade show to Barcelona. Instead, they’re not going anywhere and will host the show once again in Berlin. No word yet if their plans for Seoul, Korea, are changed for Fall 2015.
Karl-Heinz Müller announced the decision that the Barcelona show which was supposed to be January 8-10, 2015, will no longer take place do to industry feedback that Germany is a stronger, safer location for the current economic climate of fashion and denim.
According to Sportswear International, Karl-Heinz Müller said, “Various discussions with the decision makers of our industry made clear that people rather want to stick to the current format. Most exhibitors of course have the healthy and safe German market in focus. Therefore we follow the call of our industry and stay on our common grounds at former airport Berlin-Tempelhof. Bread & Butter is going to take place simultaneously with the other Berlin trade shows from January 19-21, 2015.”
Meanwhile, the fashion trade show season in Las Vegas has ended with successful shows for MAGIC, Project, Agenda, Pool, Capsule, and Liberty Fairs.
