We are pleased to announce the first MAHFIA SESSIONS from March 21-24 at Mammoth Mountain, CA, which will include Label Networks’ co-founder Kathleen Gasperini in a tribute and panel for female pioneers in snowboarding. Women in action sports are encouraged to attend, as well as those promoting breast cancer research and awareness through B4BC’s Shred the Love program.

MAHFIA and Group Y present the first MAHFIA SESSIONS event, which will take place March 21-23 at Mammoth Mountain, CA in conjunction with Boarding For Breast Cancer’s Shred the Love Tour. MAHFIA SESSIONS was created to highlight, encourage, educate, influence and entertain a unique network of females whose passions live amongst the active lifestyles of snow, skate, surf, wake, moto, bmx, music and more. The series was specifically designed for females working in or interested in the action sports industry.
“We are really excited to kick off our first event at Mammoth Mountain,” comments MAHFIA founder Kim Woozy. “As these networking events continue to evolve and grow outside of Southern California and throughout the country, the focus will always remains the same– to unite and inspire women while providing an opportunity to get out and ride together.”
This exclusive weekend series will be full of networking and is set to include two events, both of which will be taking place at Underground Lounge in the Mammoth Village. The networking mixer will kick off MAHFIA SESSIONS on Friday, March 21 from 7-9 p.m., and will be a place where those registered to attend can mingle and connect with fellow industry women over drinks and music at Mammoth’s hottest new après location. Saturday, from 4-6 p.m. an industry panel titled, “A Tribute to Female Pioneers In Snowboarding” will be featuring some of the most influential women in action sports, including B4BC’s founders Lisa Hudson, Kathleen Gasperini, Shannon Dunn-Downing, industry marketing veterans Gaylene Nagel, Miki Keller and snowboarding & skateboarding pioneer Cara-Beth Burnside. The panel will give attendees an opportunity to listen to these accomplished women discuss topics related to the past, present and future of females in snowboarding.
Throughout the weekend at Mammoth Mountain, B4BC will be hosting live music, yoga and wellness activities, a lap-a-thon fundraiser and tribute ride as part of the Shred The Love winter tour.
