For the first time in 11 years, Shepard Fairey will be creating a vinyl figurine this time with StrangeCo., creators of some of the best urban vinyl on the scene, featuring the character Mr. Spray. Mr. Spray represents the original character created by Shepard back in 2004 as a street-art appropriation of an advertising character design of the 1950’s -an absolute classic.
Details of Mr. Spray include that it will be 11 inches tall, packaged with an Obey mini stencil, illustrated card box packaging, and in 4 colors: Black (limited to 350 pieces), Red (limited to 350 pieces), Gold (limited to 200 pieces -an Obey special edition), and Silver (limited to 100 pieces and available at ComiCon 2010 in San Diego).
Mr. Spray is now available for pre-orders, with shipping to start July 20, 2010.
