A one-day film challenge has been set-up by a unique partnership between Vimeo and Connect4Climate for November 29th, 2015, just before the climate takes to take place in Paris. Given all of the new young video producers and filmmakers among our readers, this is a great opportunity to express your message about global climate change within your genre, whether it be fashion, action sports, technology, footwear, music, or street art culture.
The idea is to create a short clip based on a Day of Climate Action. Film your day, whether it is out on the streets, with your friends talking about climate solutions, or hard at work building a cleaner climate-friendlier world. Show your story from the day on what we should do to prevent dangerous climate change and save our planet. The stories all need to be filmed and edited down to no more than 3 minutes in 24 hours and submitted on the Vimeo’s group channel.
One day before the global climate talks in Paris, on 29 November 2015, called NFCCC 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21), coinciding with the Global Climate March, the 24-hour Film a #Day4Climate Action challenge brings aspiring filmmakers and citizens worldwide together for climate action.
