While it may seem obvious to those working in youth culture markets, we always make sure to point out that most young people name sneaker brands as their favorite footwear brand, which is why sneaker culture is of vital importance to youth culture today.
Not only that, but as illustrated in the Fashion section, they often name sneaker brands as their favorite fashion brand overall, which means they identify with many top sneaker brands in general as a part of their lifestyle, which is unique to youth culture in the United States.
